Frequently Asked Questions

Does your program help with eating disorders?

My courses use the framework of Intuitive Eating which integrates gentle nutrition alongside evidence based strategies to lower blood sugar. This can be helpful for those who have or are struggling with disordered eating, like binge eating and overeating. However, if you've been diagnosed with an eating disorder, it may be helpful to seek support for that first and then use this course to help manage blood sugars.

Can I take your program if I’m pregnant?

My courses are suitable for anyone who wants to lower their blood sugar before, during, or after pregnancy. As always, please consult with your doctor before making any diet and lifestyle changes that may impact your pregnancy or fertility.

Have you written any books? Where can I find them?

I have an e-cookbook! Check it out here

How can I work with you 1:1?

I’m not working 1:1 with clients at this time. If your goal is to lower blood sugar and/or a1c and improve insulin resistance, check out my courses. I developed these courses to teach you exactly how to reach your blood sugar goals. Enrollment also includes complimentary access to my private Facebook group where you can ask questions and get additional support from a trained member of my team. Find out more here

Will you sign me up for your newsletter/ email updates?

Absolutely! Click here to be added to my newsletter.

Can I sign up for your program to help my child (under 18) manage their blood sugars?

For children under 18, I recommend completing the program together. Children have the greatest success when they have the support of one or more caregivers.

Is your course for someone with type 2 diabetes or just prediabetes?

My courses are for people with insulin resistance, prediabetes, and type 2 diabetes. If you have a family history of metabolic dysfunction and are looking to delay the onset of insulin resistance or diabetes, you could also benefit from my courses.

I signed up for your course but can’t figure out how to get back to the log in page. Where can I find that?

You can use this sign in page to sign in with the email and password you created. If you don't remember your password, you can message Teachable's support team to reset your password.

Can someone with pcos take your courses?

Of course! PCOS and insulin resistance often go hand in hand together. Inside my course, I show you how to balance your blood sugars by improving insulin resistance. Many people find that this helps improve their PCOS symptoms. Personally, I saw a huge improvement in my PCOS after I reduced my A1c < 5.7% and learned how to balance my blood sugars.
